Sundays

Our Sunday Services follow the order of service found in the Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church. If you’ve never been to an Episcopal Church service before, don’t worry – our bulletins are very user friendly and we hope help you fully engage in the service. No guessing what is next – it’s all in there!

    Zoom Link Request

Every week we gather together for our main service (or liturgy as we call it in our tradition) to listen to The Word of God (Old Testament, Psalm, New Testament readings) reflect on those readings in a sermon, pray together for ourselves and for the world, confess our sins and state our common beliefs in the Creed. We don’t randomly choose our readings, but follow the church calendar year (Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost!) with readings from the the Revised Common Lectionary. Every week we come together for communion (which we call Holy Eucharist) to be fed and healed by Jesus. Our volunteer choir sings every Sunday during the program year, and our hymns come from the 1982 Hymnal, as well as LEVAS II. We have an organ and a piano.

A Service for 0-6 year olds and their families.

This Little Light is a worship service for families with young children that engages everyone’s senses through the practice of the core elements of the Episcopal liturgy - the Word of God and the Holy Eucharist. Over time, the children and their parents will learn the prayers, the songs and understand how God is moving in their lives and the world around them through interactive Biblical storytelling.

We believe that there is value in worshiping together as a family, and in doing so there is the possibility of seeing and experiencing the awe and wonder of God through worship while planting the seeds of God’s love for us that last a lifetime.

This Little Light was developed at Church of the Holy Apostles in Brooklyn.
