The Fifth Station: Simon Helps Jesus Carry His Cross.
Jesus breathed in.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Jesus even experiences our struggle to receive help. He is made to experience the poverty of not being able to carry his burden alone. He enters into the experience of all who must depend upon others to survive. He is deprived of the satisfaction of carrying this burden on his own.
I notice that I breathing mainly at night when I’m trying to go to sleep and I don’t want to notice I’m breathing, so that’s like the main thing. Either that or before fencing tournaments, often I’ll notice it, but I want to notice it then. I probably don’t notice it very often. There’s a few times mainly during exercise that, if someone’s having issues, like, hey, I’ll try to help them. Mainly I don’t notice it [breathing]. Yeah, like a lot of the times when I’m doing something stressful or I’m exerting myself a lot I feel like I’ll be breathing either lighter and a lot more or much deeper and a lot less. I’ll either feel lightheaded or revitalized.
Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Jesus breathed out.
